PRworks is pleased to announce the addition of Carly Erisman to its team of communications and marketing professionals.
Erisman joins PRworks as a specialist. She brings to the firm’s clients experience in content marketing and research as well as copywriting, event planning and visual communications.
She recently graduated summa cum laude from Shippensburg University earning a bachelor’s degree in communication/journalism with a concentration in public relations and a minor in business. While at Shippensburg University, Erisman served as president of the university’s Public Relations Student Society of America chapter. Under her leadership, the chapter developed public relations plans and marketing campaigns for eight pro bono clients.
For her senior capstone project, Erisman collaborated on a campaign to raise awareness of building and renovation projects for Shippensburg Area School District. The project involved situation analysis, research, communications planning and branding. Erisman also served as a communications intern for Cumberland County, where she developed press releases, newsletter articles, web and social media content, and promotional materials.
“Carly was a standout leader in the public relations program during her time at Shippensburg,” said Jason Kirsch, APR, partner and senior counselor with PRworks. “Having led her peers in the development of communications campaigns for multiple clients, she knows well the value of research, strategy and planning. She also brings so many other qualities we hold in high regard at PRworks such as a well-rounded skill set, collaborative approach and can-do spirit. We are excited to welcome Carly and her public relations talents to our team.”
