Deborah Saline, APR, Fellow PRSA Heads Up Curriculum Accreditation Team

Periodically, PRSA Fellows are asked to review the curriculums and outcomes of college and university public relations programs. The accreditation process for higher education institutions is officiated by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).

Deborah Saline will join other PRSA Fellows this spring to review the PR program at Brigham Young University in Utah.

“We review every aspect of a college or university’s PR curriculum then interview faculty and alumni relative to expect outcomes during three days of arduous review,” says Deborah. “Our task continues with extensive documentation of our findings, recommendations for enhancements or changes and finally a recommendation to the PRSA board of directors to either accredit the program or not.”
