Marketing and Public Relations Coordinator (Remote in Central Pennsylvania)

This position brings positive outcomes for clients by supporting and providing public relations and marketing services grounded in strategy and with the highest integrity. The position is multi-faceted, requiring a blended skill set of both generalist and specialist.

This is a remote position; but candidates in Dauphin, Cumberland, Lancaster and York counties in Pennsylvania are preferred for periodic in-person meetings that foster team and client collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Collaboratively conceptualize, plan, execute and measure public relations and marketing programs that are aligned with client goals
  • Build and maintain client relationships through exceptional service and consultation
  • Employ a full range of tactics and tools including, but not limited to: research; message development; content marketing; digital marketing; social media marketing; email marketing; media relations; and website management
  • Plan, write and edit content for diverse media including web, social media, blogs, newsletters, collateral materials and advertisements
  • Plan and execute digital campaigns including digital advertising, social media advertising, email marketing and search engine marketing 
  • Conduct media relations including contact research; news release development; distribution and pitching; and monitoring and reporting
  • Collaborate with freelancers and vendors to fulfill client projects including web developers, photographers, videographers and printers
  • Accurately log time in the firm’s project management platform

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in public relations or related field
  • Exceptional writing and verbal communications skills
  • Unwavering commitment to integrity, collaboration, teamwork, quality and positive outcomes
  • Demonstrated knowledge, skills and abilities in public relations and marketing
  • Proficiency in reporting and drawing insights from analytics
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented, with ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently and adhere to deadlines
  • Dependability, resourcefulness and versatility
  • Aptitude for working in a fast-paced environment
  • Dedication to perpetually learning, improving and staying abreast of innovations and trends
