The Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Central Pennsylvania Chapter has presented PRworks with two Keystone Awards for projects completed in 2024–2025, bringing the firm’s total number of industry awards to 21 since 2018.

PRworks earned a Keystone Award for a brand modernization initiative for the International Surface Fabricators Association (ISFA) and a Keystone Award for a trade media relations program for the Association of Outdoor Lighting Professionals (AOLP). The Keystone Awards recognize public relations campaigns that demonstrate the four-step process — research, planning, implementation and evaluation — and achieve measurable results.
“These projects demonstrate the power of strategic communications to strengthen industries and elevate the professionals who drive them forward,” said Jason Kirsch, principal and senior counselor at PRworks. “We’re honored to receive this recognition from our peers, and even more grateful to the clients who trust us to help tell their stories and advance their missions.”
The award-winning projects included:
Giving ISFA an Edge with a Modernized Brand
The International Surface Fabricators Association (ISFA) is the leading organization representing professionals in the countertop and surface fabrication industry. As the industry evolved, ISFA recognized that its visual identity no longer reflected the innovation, precision and professionalism that define modern fabrication.
ISFA partnered with PRworks to develop a refreshed brand designed to position the association as the leading authority and advocate for surface fabricators while increasing its appeal to current and prospective members. The initiative included a comprehensive brand audit, member perception research, competitive analysis and a collaborative design process that resulted in a new logo, updated visual identity and a strategic brand launch.
Early feedback following the launch indicated strong positive sentiment, and the new brand was quickly put to work to elevate association’s visibility.

Lighting the Way to Increased Visibility for AOLP
The Association of Outdoor Lighting Professionals (AOLP) promotes excellence in landscape and architectural lighting through education, standards and professional development. Despite its leadership role, the organization had historically generated limited earned media visibility in industry trade publications and websites.
PRworks developed and executed a strategic trade media relations program designed to showcase the expertise and award-winning work of AOLP members. The strategy leveraged two key assets — AOLP’s Annual Lighting Awards and insights from AOLP-member experts — to create compelling stories around design innovation and emerging trends such as tunable white technology and environmentally responsible lighting.
The campaign significantly exceeded expectations, increasing earned trade media mentions eightfold and expanding audience reach by more than 3,300 percent. Coverage in high-tier industry outlets strengthened AOLP’s visibility and positioned the association and its members as leading voices in the field.
