Harvest View Barn, a picturesque wedding venue nestled in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania, exudes timeless elegance. However, its online presence didn’t fully reflect the venue’s charm and sophistication. In today’s competitive wedding market, a captivating online experience is crucial for attracting couples and securing bookings.

Recognizing the need for a website transformation, Harvest View Barn partnered with PRworks to revitalize its brand and create a stunning new website to capture the hearts of prospective couples and drive inquiries.

The Need to Make a Match

  • Outdated Website: The existing website lacked the visual appeal and user-friendly features necessary to showcase the venue’s unique selling propositions.
  • Increased Competition: The barn wedding market has become increasingly saturated, demanding an online presence that makes a winning first impression and stands out from the crowd.
  • Brand Refresh: In conjunction with the website refresh, the venue’s brand identity needed a contemporary update to resonate with modern couples.

Marriage of Strategy and Creativity

PRworks’ approach involved:

1. Brand Discovery: PRworks conducted in-depth research including interviews with the venue owners, a site visit, and a competitive analysis of other local wedding venues. This helped uncover Harvest View Barn’s unique strengths, such as its picturesque grounds, spacious getting-ready rooms, and the inclusion of a dedicated day-of event coordinator.

2. Brand Development: A fresh visual identity was created, blending a refined color palette, elegant typography and captivating imagery to express the venue’s beauty and character.

3. Site Architecture: An intuitive user-friendly site architecture was designed, ensuring easy navigation and a seamless user experience.

4. Content Development: Our team then crafted engaging narratives that highlighted the venue’s amenities and created an emotional connection with potential clients.

5. Website Design & Development: In partnership with one of PRworks’ talented web developers, we brought all the elements together in a new site that emphasized visual storytelling. High-quality photography and videography were integrated to underscore the venue’s ambiance and help prospective couples envision their special day at Harvest View.

Turning First Impressions into “I Do”

Since the website’s launch, it has demonstrated promising results:

  • Increased Bookings: Just three months after the website’s launch, the site began generating an average of three leads a day with a visitors-to-inquiry ratio of over 6%.
  • Positive Feedback: Feedback from prospective clients has been positive, highlighting the website’s ease of use and the captivating visual presentation.

Post-launch, PRworks and Harvest View Barn further enhanced the website experience based on user feedback. Modifications included:

  • Refining the Critical “Check Availability” Button: To make it easier for couples to inquire about booking dates, we increased the visibility of the “Check Availability” button.
  • Enhancing the Mobile Experience: To improve usability and navigation, we refined the presentation of wedding packages on mobile devices.

PRworks continues to regularly monitor analytics to evaluate site performance, uncover other insights that can improve lead generation, and inform the execution of paid and shared media strategies to maximize traffic to the site.
