While PRworks is focused on telling our clients’ stories daily, today we are pleased to add to our own story:

After five years of leading PRworks as managing partner, Jason Kirsch, APR is now sole owner and principal of the firm.

“I am tremendously excited to take on full ownership of PRworks,” Jason said. “During the past five years, we’ve reached new heights thanks to our deep expertise, broad capabilities, high degree of versatility and collaborative approach. We’ve widened our experience partnering with clients in healthcare, human services, financial services, arts and entertainment, education, government, agriculture and law. The absolute best part is the close relationships we’ve developed with so many clients and partners. I am thrilled to take PRworks even further.”

Jason has more than 27 years of experience building brands, leading campaigns and providing strategic communications counsel. Under his leadership, PRworks has been recognized with industry awards for its work with national, statewide and regional organizations including AAA Central Penn, Dave & Busters, Gamut Theatre Group, The Guardian Life Insurance Company, Voce, Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts, and WITF.

Jason previously was an executive in the marketing organization at Capital Blue Cross, where he led brand management, digital marketing, public relations, advertising and creative services. He also formerly oversaw marketing and public relations for Metro Bank before it was acquired by First National Bank. Additionally, he conducted media relations and served as spokesperson for two Pennsylvania governors, and was director of communications and press secretary at the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development.

Jason holds the Accredited in Public Relations (APR) credential, a mark of distinction that signifies a distinguished level of expertise and a commitment to ethical conduct. He also developed, and is a lead instructor for, the Public Relations Society of America accreditation coaching program at the national level. Additionally, he is an adjunct professor in the School of the Arts, Communication and Global Studies and the Graham School of Business at York College of Pennsylvania.

He is a recipient of the Ernest R. McDowell Award for Excellence in Public Relations awarded by the Pennsylvania Public Relations Society and the Frederick E. Leuschner Award for Excellence in Public Relations awarded by the Public Relations Society of America’s Central Pennsylvania Chapter.

We are excited for the future of PRworks under Jason’s leadership and ownership, and look forward to the benefits that his guidance, expertise and values will continue to provide to our team members, clients and partners.
